Merseyside Third Sector Technology Centre (3tc)

The Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) provides essential, life-enhancing services to the most vulnerable people in our society. Information Communications Technology (ICT) can significantly help the sector in this regard. Unfortunately in the past frontline charities sometimes encountered difficulty in obtaining the most appropriate technological solution at a suitably completitve price. In the worst instances organisations risked being recommended inappropriate (and ultimately more costly) solutions from different suppliers. 3tc as a charitable infrastructure organisation was formed in part to help address this by meeting frontline charities ICT and print-related needs across the Merseyside sub-region.

3tc is a not-for-profit technology centre committed to providing Merseyside's Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) with equal access to Information Communications Technology (ICT). Our aim is to help all sections of society gain in confidence by using ICT, including school children, the elderly, people with disabilities and ethnic minority groups. Based in Waterloo and St. Helens, 3tc has local knowledge of the Merseyside area. We offer a comprehensive range of ICT goods and services to frontline VCFS organisations including:

Our Microsoft certified engineers can recommend, quote, supply and install ICT solutions tailored to your individual requirements. To supplement this 3tc offers a fast, friendly and efficient technical support service to ensure you get the best out of your investment.

ICT Training

Take advantage of our flexible range of ICT training packages and realise the new opportunities that technology offers. We can offer simple taster courses to get people started, one day bespoke courses in popular 'Office' programmes, specialist courses covering the likes of desktop publishing or web design right the way through to accredited courses such as the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or Information Technology Qualification (ITQ).
